It seems likely that the UK government will relax the restrictions on some aspects of the the UK tourism industry from early July and that this may include holiday cottages. We are awaiting the detailed guidance on this from the government.
In the meantime we are already making our plans for how the cottages could re-open – so that our guests, cleaners and ourselves can all be kept as safe as possible.
Details of these plans will be available on this website in due course. They will include collection of keys from keysafes by guests and additional cleaning – especially of surfaces and touch points. Property information and tourist information will be provided electronically.
Croftside and Croft Corner each now have their own washer/dryer located in each of their own boiler rooms. By providing these extra facilities the two cottages will no longer need to share a laundry room.
We hope that our guests in the rest of 2020 will have a very enjoyable time in our beautiful part of the UK – and some much needed therapy.
