July was unusual in that we had two late cancellations at Croft Corner – which is always sad for our guests when this happens. We always try to re-let the property so that guests can have a refund.

Despite the mixed bag of weather it has not stopped us getting out and enjoying the walks on the doorstep. Loved the homely cottage.
We have had a lovely week – mainly fine weather – and have enjoyed having breakfast outside in the lovely garden. Good meal at the Pheasant – need to book! Cottage is very comfortable and quiet – all we needed and a great base.
What a lovely place – so lucky to get it after a cancellation. Ideal for getting about and near enough for walking into Keswick.

Croft Corner was fully booked in August and September – some very long term guests returned for their favourite weeks and some new guests. Croft Corner has just one week available in October – the week of Oct 26th/2nd Nov is now £490.
