The geraniums in the window box for Croft Corner are still looking bright and cheerful – on the 2nd December! They provide a welcome splash of colour at this time of year.
Many guests comment on how much they enjoy the garden at Croft Corner and they like especially to watch the birds coming and going at the bird feeders. The garden contains some dramatic Yucca plants – when these are in flower they are a magnificent sight to behold. In summer the garden is awash with striking stately, red Crocosmia flowers – the same red colour being repeated in the climbing rose over the trellis at the entrance door.
The little pond – though it only has 6 inches of water at the most – will some times have a pink waterlily in flower – despite many garden books proclaiming that at least 2 feet of water is needed for this. . . !By Jan on December 2nd, 2017
